Logging into your Moodle account the first time?

When logging in, you will need to provide your username and password in the upper right corner of the homepage.

Username
Usernames are based upon your campus email address. For instance if your email account is joe.smith2@campus.net, then your username would be: joe.smith2
(no capitals in the name)

Password
The password you use is the first initial of your first name plus the first initial of your last name plus the last six digits of your student ID. For example, Joe Smith’s password the first time he logs into Moodle would be JS123456.
(password initials are capitalized and case sensitive)

- Check your user profile when using Moodle for the first time. To review your profile, login to Moodle and click on your name in the upper right corner

* It is highly recommended that users change their password. Click on the ‘change password’ button at the bottom of the menu

* Check your email address by clicking the ‘edit profile’ tab at the top of the screen. Users can change their email to any preferred email address

* Remember to save all changes prior to exiting

- Any changes will only affect your identity in Moodle. They will not affect other institutional identities or passwords.
